Hi all,

The Special Interest Group on Virtual Machines and Virtual Machine Monitors (SIG VMM) has the main goal of fostering the discussion around VMMs/VMs and other topics of interest regarding virtualization using seL4 as a hypervisor.

The scope of the SIG VMM is as follows:

  1. Discuss ideas about improving functionality, efficiency, and security of seL4 virtualization support.
  2. Coordinate the progress on possible features and directions for seL4 VMMs development.
  3. Discuss and enumerate the priorities for improving the virtualization support when using seL4 as a hypervisor.
  4. Review and contribute to the creation of RFCs on the topics of the SIG VMM.
  5. Make recommendations for the seL4 Technical Steering Committee on the topics of the SIG VMM.

The Discourse channel SIG VMM will be the main communication channel for raising discussions and proposals regarding the SIG topics of interest. Please feel free to join the conversation :slightly_smiling_face:
